I lost a lot of respect for The Simpsons after seeing the film. There was absolutely no reason for them to do a movie, all it accomplished was to piss off the long time fans. Should have waited until the series was done.

this film is abysmal, when you compare it to the first 5-8 seasons of the show. The jokes are lame, worn out, and the plot is a pig "crapping?" Is that their idea of pushing the envelope?

It was more of an extended simpsons episode than a film.
And flanders didn't say 'diddly' or any of that jibberish once! And that kinda of animation just isn't right for the simpsons. It had a few good parts, but apart from that, it wasn't very good.
