Red double Decker buses are British rather than Irish, the Police in this were "police" rather than "garde", and they visited Giants Causeway which is also in the UK rather than Ireland. Although the Irish smoking laws to forbid drinking in pubs, bars restaurants etc, that can just as well be northern Ireland too since smoking in all public places is prohibited in the UK. Quite obviously the writers didn't do there research as I very much doubt this was intended to be set in the UK's part of Ireland.

I'm Irish and I was lookig forward to seeing this episode because I was eager to see how they satirized Ireland, but ... thats nothing like Ireland at all... what the hell is that joke about "German krusty" the irish arent known for using dubbed versions of American tv especially in German! .. why the hell would we! We're IRISH ... and The red busses is an english thing ... I could complain more but I couldnt be arsed! (Irish expression ... we are an eloquent lot)
