Comic Book Guy creates a new superhero called Everyman who takes powers from other superheroes. Homer is cast as the lead in the film adaptation. To get Homer into shape, the movie studio hires a celebrity fitness trainer, Lyle McCarthy to help him.[1] Homer gets into great shape, and is really excited, but the film is canceled, and his life falls apart.

The idea of this episode was nice but unfortunately the execution was terrible. Not that I didn't expect a sub-par episode compared to the "Golden Age" Simpsons, but they didn't put much thought into this at all.

Everyone complains about the more recent episodes, but this one wasn't as bad as people have been making out. To be honest an "okayish" episode is better than no episode at all, so don't say they should stop making the simpsons because if they did you know you would miss watching them, even if they aren't as great as they used to be(the best seasons are 5 to 10).
And as for the rude comments about people's spelling and calling poeple retards just because they have a different oppion to you(Hedrix),WHO CARES! I mean seriously, cheap shot! This site is about the simpsons, not perfect grammar.
