She is replaced by a cool new teacher, Mr. Vaughn, who is a quick hit with the kids. Bart, however, struggles with the guilt and considers telling Principal Skinner the truth.

you have a damn good point. Most decent sitcoms have a plot and a subplot as most intelligent people can handle more than one plotline at a time. Infact most need a subplot because the main plot is often so weak, the only things; films, cartoons, tv shows etc, that dont are usually very intense programs that focus around one tightly written story, ie 24 etc etc, im not a fan of those kind of hollywood shows but you see my point. I stand by my previous points about how poor the simpsons is now, but im not going to stop watching just because some illiterate retard tells me i should. I'm allowed to read classic literature and hate it and disagree with it, thats where i put the simpsons at its peak, classic comedy and literature. So people like myself who want to disassemble and dissect it can.
as for the quality of this episode ... meh, it has derivative points theyve done before and that sucks. In fact the more i think about it, the more i can spot lazy plot points and bad storywriting

Being british i didnt even notice a british sterotype, i dont care about all those silly jokes, the big book of british smiles etc, girls fresh from the streets of essex etc, its as funny as apu, cookie kwan, willy, fat tony all being stereotypes. There is some truth in the sterotype and thats where the humour comes from. Get over that, you only CHOOSE to be offended. Simple.
With regards to the secret, it is the secret they are taking the piss out of, not the new dan brown book. I had the secret pushed at me a long time ago. I saw it for what it was then, new age twaddle. I do have time for alternative writing and viewpoints but any book that tries to help you win the lottery through visualisation is clearly wanky pie in the sky nonsense ... no matter how you dress it up
