I love this episode, I think it's really sharp and satirical, more like the old episodes. Clever humour instead of relying on fart gags and slapstick.
I also LOVE Anne Hathaway, I think she's wonderful. She's a fabulous actress and her comic timing in impeccable. But her voice is just flawless. Her version of Moon River is so disarming, she's an angel!

this is 1 of the best episodes i have seen

it was funny when
Krusty got hit by the rainbow when they were lowering it down
when they threw out all of Krusty's toys Krusty was near the bin and the guy thought it was one of those massive dolls and he picked Krusty up and put him in the bin
When Bart and Milhouse try to stop Krusty from getting married he says This kid and his Ugly sister are right and he was talking about Milhouse
and when Krusty put the fire extinguisher down Sideshow Mel's mouth
Those parts are all funny

LOL!!!!!

it kinda upsets me when i read posts from people complaining that this episode isn't funny. . . but then i remember that these are probably NEW fans who don't really know what the Simpsons are all about. As a Fan who considers the Simpsons a chronicle of the events of his own life, am relieved to see that this episode is an HD reminiscent of what the simpsons used to be. . . It was once quoted "Under Scully's tenure, The Simpsons became, well, a cartoon. [...] Episodes that once would have ended with Homer and Marge bicycling into the sunset now end with Homer blowing a tranquilizer dart into Marge's neck. The show's still funny, but it hasn't been touching in years." I Believe that this episode is a testament to the fact that The simpsons still have it in them . . . and as a fan of the simpsons this episode will make me want to tune into more, or DVR if i'm not gonna be home, when i was at a point in my obsession where i was considering abandoning them. . . i think its great! Thanks Admin for a great site!

P.S. who knew Anne Hathaway has a concept of tone quality, and a decent singing voice, very reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's ("Moon River" the singing that is...)

Great couch gag, but the rest is kinda boring. They got to a peak and now they're just going downhill. James L. Brookes, if you're reading this, WAKE UP!!
