When Miss Hoover asks her students to research their family history, Lisa is horrified to discover that most of her ancestors were bad people – a motley crew of horse thieves and deadbeats. But while rummaging through the attic, Lisa happens upon a diary kept by her ancestor, Eliza Simpson. As Eliza’s story unfolds, Lisa learns that her family was part of the Underground Railroad, a group that helped slaves escape to freedom. Eliza recounts liberating a slave named Virgil, but when Lisa presents her findings at school, some of her classmates refute it, leaving Lisa determined to exonerate her family’s name.

Wait, what?
How is leaving your husband and your kids behind you somehow a good deed? That was actually pretty cruel thing to do to Elizah who seemed like a nice daughter... I was half expecting there to come "ironically, she wasn't that good either" but they seriously tried to make this adultery into a beautiful thing... Bah.

wait just a second, i thought grandpa Simpson came to a America from a country he "cant quite recall" when he was a boy with his father and they fill the statchu of Liberty's head with garbage... they really gotta stop back tracking there story.
... but i guess after 20years it gets hard to come up with new episodes.
(plz excuse any grammar mistakes)
