The story line was simple and the jokes were funny for the educated many. It can be educational for people who don't know anything about relgion (belive me they do exsist!). Now to comment on the episode. I find the episode poor, I didn't find my self connecting with the characters like I did in past series and episodes and the tour man was over the top with his ascent. Fox tries to be funny by making fun of the typical families, though they sometimes go over the top like they have seen here. Correction from my first post:. However, thanks to the admin for posting this site, so we can actually see some of the decent episodes.

Hmm, odd.. I can't think of any bad Simpsons episodes. Only that one episode is better than the other. I guess this makes me a huge Simpsons fan (about 100kg/220lbs). Anywho, this episode is one of the better episodes there are. I really cannot see why anyone would feel offended or for that matter, how any so called Simpsons fan can dislike this episode. But what I can imagine is that people who don't have any affinity to religion might doze off or feel repelled and angered to learn that the Simpsons show explicit religious values/norms. This is simply because most of these are unbelievers.
One last word: thank you Matt Groening, Billy Kimball and Dan McGrath for another wonderfull episode.
