The Simpsons 1812 Little Big Girl Times Watched: 641,198 Comments: 94 Rating:
Rather than tell the truth about her family history in a school report, Lisa bends the facts a little and claims she is a "Native American", which ends up having her become the keynote speaker for the National Native American Tribal Council; when Bart stops a major fire, Mayor Quimby grants him one wish - a driver's license - but after one day too many of being the Simpsons' errand boy and chauffeur, he drives off to North Haverbrook, where an older girl, who thinks Bart must be at least 16, falls for him

Vampov, I dont agree with you cuz its funny so why does it have to be realistic? It would be boring if it was. If you have a problem with the epesodes unlike the rest of us, then dont watch them!

Personally, I dislike the story line of this one because it was too sudden.
fire starts--->Bart extinguishes it--->Lisa wins multicultural contest--->he gets a random license to drive--->he travels around--->Homer gives him a cell phone--->he goes to North Haverbrook--->meets Darcy--->kisses Darcy--->gets a license to marry Darcy--->Tells Darcy his age, and she tells him she's pregnant--->They almost get married--->They never see each other again--->Lisa confesses--->End
...very poor story line, but it's still my favorite TV series EVER... I'll forgive them after this I guess...

Take it easy vampov, you yourself said it was satire. JOKES. It doesn't have to be factually accurate, that's what makes it FUNNY.

Once again another crappy episode. I don’t know if the original writers quit or if they ran out of ideas but the last 5-6 years has sucked; way to much political satire and not enough originality. I’m really let down that the animators forgot to put the monorail in any of the town scenes. North Haverbrooke was a town introduced in episode 412 as one of the towns a Lyle Langley sold a Monorail to, yet we don’t see any sign of it. Then they proceed to make fun of Utah being a state that has the lowest marriage age. I hate to break it to the idiots but Polygamy is illegal in the US and the lowest age in Utah is 16 with parents permission, 15 is the absolute and that requires parents permission and a Juvenile Court approval. Many states allow lower ages than Utah. Once again the New Simpson’s writers screw up or sink to new levels to get a laugh. They need to watch the first 5 seasons and remember what made the Simpsons great. Feel free to send me hate mail.
