It is always the same thing with Simpsons episodes. If Itchy and Scratchy kill each other in every other episode no one cares.
But if the episode handles religious topics people get annoyed. Calm down religion isn't everything - even if it causes a lot of trouble on this planet (war, hatred, priests who abuse children, terror...)
Consider the Simpsons as what they are - a CARTOON!

After watching this episode, I have to say, it was TERRIBLE. Worst episode in season 21 so far. That tour guides voice was really annoying. The beginning part back in springfield was ok. I've seen every episode, I prefer the older ones. This was just horrible, I had to skip through parts of it. Who agrees with me?

this episode just makes me angry. the simpsons used to make fun of religion in a subtle way, a few jokes here and there and everyone had a good laugh, I think this episode is just down right disrespectful. Bart reading other people's prayers and skateboarding on the western wall, Homer thinking he's the messiah and acting like an idiot (when he thought he was a hindu god, at least acted serious), the guide who was so annoying that you'd want to throw your computer into the trash, the only think that was actually nice was Homer's speech on religion near the end of the episode. for me the simpsons lost its spark 3 years ago and it has been declining rapidly since season 21 began, I'm sorry to say but if the simpsons was canceled right now, I wouldn't be sad.
